Pitchfork wrote of that album Elvis Perkins has emerged as an assured, fully-formed cosmopolitan able to merge readily recognizable influences with a sense of theatre. The record is being released under Perkins own label MIR under exclusive license to Petaluma Records - a new label venture founded by Nion McEvoy.
