Def Leppard's The Vinyl Collection: Volume Four brings the band's 2015 to 2023 era together in an 11LP box set on 180-gram vinyl, due in 2026.

This is the chapter where a band with nothing to prove kept making records anyway. The self-titled Def Leppard arrived in 2015 sounding loose and energised. Diamond Star Halos followed in 2022 with a clear nod to the glam rock the members grew up on, and Drastic Symphonies in 2023 reimagined their biggest songs with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra at Abbey Road.

All three studio albums are here, from the bright opening punch of Let's Go to the stomping single Kick and This Guitar, a gentle duet with Alison Krauss that shows how far the band's palette has stretched. The orchestral record then turns familiar anthems into something grander and stranger, with strings swelling where the guitars used to roar.

The remaining five LPs are rarities curated by Joe Elliott, gathering live sessions, demos, alternate mixes, radio edits and collaborations. Among them is a previously unreleased cover of The Beatles' Revolution, recorded for an unused television advert, plus new 2026 mixes of two favourite covers.

It makes for a fascinating dig through a late-career run that rarely gets its due. For owners of the earlier volumes, this brings the series up to date.
