Residing in Nashville, Tennessee, Johnathan has an enthusiasm for the sounds of British Invasion-era pop music and early 2000s pop that resonate clearly in his upbeat, heartfelt songs. Produced by Wyatt Funderburk, Compositions includes ten original tracks and one cover that encapsulate his unapologetic retro pop style. It features several guest musicians, too, including: Geoff Britton (of Paul McCartney and Wings) who plays on "Junior's Farm," "Gonna Be Alright," "Alexandra" and "Just Friends"; Sandy Gennaro (Cyndi Lauper, Joan Jett, The Monkees) who plays drums on "Any Second Now,"; and Wicked Cool Records' Kris Rodgers.
