Céline Dion's Falling Into You returns as a 2LP UK import, the 1996 blockbuster that took her from star to global phenomenon.

Coming off the success of The Colour of My Love, Dion and her team went bigger in every sense, enlisting a dream team of writers and producers and building an album of towering ballads and polished pop. It went on to win the Grammy for Album of the Year and became one of the defining records of the decade.

Jim Steinman's "It's All Coming Back to Me Now" is the melodramatic heart of the record, a seven-minute rock opera of memory and desire. "Because You Loved Me," written by Diane Warren and produced by David Foster, is the grateful power ballad that soundtracked countless first dances, and her soaring cover of Eric Carmen's "All By Myself" contains one of the most famous held notes in pop.

Elsewhere she tackles "River Deep, Mountain High" with gospel-tinged gusto, and the record leaves room for lighter, more playful moments between the showstoppers. Her voice is the constant, controlled and enormous, capable of a whisper one moment and a stadium-filling roar the next.
