The singer-songwriter from Tecate, in Mexico's Baja California, made her name with heart-on-sleeve ballads that feel like private conversations, and she brings that same closeness to Christmas. First released in 2016, after Amor Supremo, this short set swaps big holiday production for something softer and more personal, the kind of record that suits a quiet evening with the lights down low.
The title itself is a playful nod, flipping the familiar drummer boy into a drummer girl, and her version of "El Niño del Tambor" carries that idea with gentle, steady charm. "Noche de Paz" is handled with hushed reverence, while "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas" leans into its bittersweet heart rather than its sparkle.
She closes the set with "White Christmas," letting her clear, aching voice lead the way, and the whole record moves easily between languages as if they were one.
