Billy Morrison calls in a remarkable cast of friends on Hollow, a hard-hitting 2026 rock album pressed here on colored vinyl.
The British guitarist is best known as Billy Idol's longtime rhythm guitarist alongside Steve Stevens, but his solo records have become a showcase for his songwriting and a magnet for rock royalty. Hollow follows 2024's The Morrison Project, with Morrison singing roughly half of its twelve songs himself and handing the microphone to guests for the rest.
The guest list is a fan's dream. Sully Erna sings lead on "Becoming" with Nuno Bettencourt on lead guitar, Marilyn Manson lends his menacing presence to "The Tailor", and hip-hop legends Chuck D, B-Real and DMC join forces on the genre-crossing "No Suspects". Duff McKagan, Dexter Holland, Chad Gray and Stevens himself all turn up too.
Morrison's own vocals hold it all together, and the brooding title track "Hollow" shows just how much heart sits beneath the heavy riffs, giving the album a personal, cohesive core.
