All Them Witches' Live on the Internet spreads one marathon livestream performance across three LPs, and the Nashville band fills every side with heavy, hypnotic jams.
The show was broadcast in 2020, a year when stages everywhere went dark and bands had to find new ways to reach a crowd. At the time the group was a three-piece, with Charles Michael Parks Jr. on bass and vocals, Ben McLeod on guitar and Robby Staebler on drums, fresh off their sixth studio album, Nothing as the Ideal. The performance first surfaced on vinyl for Record Store Day in 2021 before reaching a wider audience the following year.
Playing to cameras rather than a crowd, the trio leans into the music itself, letting songs stretch out and boil over. 1X1, the first song they released as a three-piece, sits alongside older favourites such as Charles William and Dirt Preachers, while Everest gives McLeod's guitar plenty of space to roam, from bluesy restraint to full psychedelic roar.
The sound is raw and close, as if the amps are just across the room.
On three slabs of vinyl it plays like a proper document of a band at full stretch during a strange, quiet year, and a reminder of how much power three players can generate.
