A bold move for a Texas based artist steeped in the roots of country music, COVER GIRL's eleven genre bending cover songs go from Dolly Parton and Rosanne Cash to the Pretenders and Lady Gaga, with Emmylou Harris, Sheryl Crow and Taylor Swift songs thrown in for good measure. In addition to Sixpence None The Richer's Leigh Nash, each song feaures an emerging female vocalist/artist who Aaron knows and respects or has performed with. All of the women that grace the album bring a distinct sound and style to their respective songs. When combined with Aaron's steady country voice, the guest vocalists help make COVER GIRL a unique collection where the listener will find something that they know and love.
