The title nods to the Beatles, borrowing the working title of Help!, and the ambition on display matched the reference.

Lead single "Volcano Girls" is the band at their most gleefully self-mythologizing, a crunchy, shout-along blast of attitude. "Straight" opens the record with heavy swagger, "Shutterbug" snaps with sharp-edged hooks, and "Benjamin" shows off the twin-vocal chemistry that made Gordon and Post such a formidable pair at the front of the stage.

It's a louder, sharper and more polished record than its predecessor, packed with big guitars and even bigger choruses, and it sits proudly among the defining alt-rock records of the late nineties.
