Collected Non-Album Works Vol. 3 [2LP Clear Green]

The Hellacopters empty the vaults again on Cream of the Crap! Collected Non-Album Works Vol. 3, a high-octane round-up of rarities pressed on clear green double vinyl, with a poster tucked inside the gatefold.

Picking up where the first two volumes left off, this set gathers 24 tracks originally released between 1998 and 2005, many of them on vinyl singles and long-deleted CDs, and plenty never available digitally before. Compiled by drummer Robert Eriksson and freshly remastered, it's a crash course in the Stockholm band's love of high-energy rock and roll, from Detroit fire to Australian punk.

Covers make up most of the running order, and they reveal the band's record collection in glorious detail. "American Ruse" pays tribute to the MC5, "I'm Eighteen" gives Alice Cooper a scrappy, sweaty makeover, and "Speedfreak" tears through Motörhead at full throttle. Among the originals, opener "Long Gone Losers" shows off Nicke Andersson's knack for a hook built on pure swagger.

It's raw, loud and bursting with the kind of abandon that made The Hellacopters one of Sweden's great rock exports. Treat it as a mixtape from a band that seems to know every great riff by heart, and play it at a volume that would make the originals proud.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0704/2026/7313/files/The_Hellacopters-Cream_of_the_Crap_Collected_Non-Album_Works_Vol._3_2LP_Clear_Green.jpg?v=1793991478
https://vinyl.com/products/the-hellacopters-cream-of-the-crap-collected-non-album-works-vol-3-2lp-clear-green
