This is their second record together, and the conceit is a real one even if the movie isn't: theme music, cues, mood pieces, all the connective tissue a score provides, minus the picture it was supposedly written for. No synthesizers anywhere. The title itself comes from Ancient Greek, a sounding lead, the instrument sailors once used to measure depth before charts existed.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp dir=\"ltr\"\u003eTheme for Skantagio opens the record with the trio's guitars circling each other warily, more conversation than melody. Theme for Narcoleptics drifts exactly as its title suggests, unhurried to the point of hypnosis, while Theme for Fruitful Tangents lets Eisenberg's playing wander somewhere genuinely strange. Theme for Undivided Neglect closes the record on its most patient note, three musicians agreeing to leave space rather than fill it.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp dir=\"ltr\"\u003eSeven cues for a film you'll have to imagine yourself.
