Colin Hay's distinctive voice, Greg Ham's flute and saxophone, and a knack for quirky, sharply observed lyrics gave them a sound that nobody else could quite copy.

Down Under remains their unofficial national anthem, all bouncing, reggae-tinged rhythm and that unforgettable flute line, while Who Can It Be Now? turns paranoia into a saxophone-driven earworm. Overkill shows their moodier side, a sleepless late-night meditation on worry, and It's a Mistake takes a wry, sideways look at Cold War tension.

Beyond those hits, the collection reaches into deeper cuts and later material, filling out the picture of a band that was always smarter and stranger than its sunny reputation suggested. The playing is tight, the hooks are plentiful and the humour is never far away.

For anyone who grew up with these songs on the radio, this is a neat, no-fuss way to keep the essentials spinning in one place, and a fine introduction for anyone meeting them for the first time.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0704/2026/7313/files/Men_at_Work-Their_Ultimate_Collection_Holland_Import.jpg?v=1793641854
