The collaboration took off when Mild High Club's Alex Brettin visited Stu Mackenzie at the end of 2016, and the pair swapped short voice-memo ideas, the sketches of the title, before cutting the album at the band's own Flightless HQ in about three weeks.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eWhat came out is soft-focus psychedelia with a lounge-jazz heart. The Spider And Me drifts on a lazy, sun-warmed groove, Rolling Stoned slurs along with a sleepy grin, and the three-part title suite threads through the record like a recurring daydream.
