In 1976 they shared a bill with the Sex Pistols at the Nashville Rooms, and soon afterwards The 101'ers played their final show. Strummer was soon on his way to The Clash, and the rest is well documented.

What came before is far less familiar. The first LP collects the band's complete studio recordings, from opener Letsagetabitarockin' to new 2026 mixes and the original single version of Keys to Your Heart. The second digs into basement tapes and demos, including an early take on Motor Boys Motor and Full Moon, an intimate solo recording made at the band's squat.

Newly remastered by Paul Hicks, these recordings reveal a frontman already singing as if his life depended on it, before punk gave that urgency a name.

Following earlier volumes devoted to his solo work and the Mescaleros, this third installment fills in the missing first chapter of the Strummer story.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0704/2026/7313/files/Joe_Strummer-Joe_Strummer_003_The_101ers_Years_1974-1976_2LP_f8a9d4d7-d96c-4d92-9069-1228f60c09c0.jpg?v=1793291549
