After self-releasing The Black and revisiting two earlier albums with fresh recordings, they signed with Sumerian for this sixth studio album. Berg, guitarist Harald Barrett and Henrik Udd produced it, with Drew Fulk and Lukas Geppert adding co-production.

Recorded between 2024 and 2026 in Gothenburg and near Malmö, it is the first Imminence record to bring outside collaborators into the creative process, and it shows in the sheer scale.
