Rather than slow down, drummer and bandleader Femi Koleoso and his bandmates doubled down on joy, shaping the album around the arc of an evening, from the cloakroom queue to the moment the lights come on.

Afrobeat, jazz, soul, reggae and hip-hop all mingle freely. "God Gave Me Feet for Dancing" sets out the thesis early, with Yazmin Lacey's warm, unhurried vocal gliding over a rolling groove. "Ajala" is pure horn-driven celebration, while "N29" carries a restless, after-midnight energy.
