Bragg brought Wilco into the sessions, and the collaboration produced three volumes released over the years that followed. This set gathers all of them, and adds 16 previously unreleased recordings from the original sessions, including demos, alternate versions and live performances.

The songs remain the heart of it. "California Stars," sung by Jeff Tweedy, turned a long-lost Guthrie lyric into one of the most loved songs either act has recorded, and "Way Over Yonder In The Minor Key" shows Bragg at his most tender.
