It is also the first release on SKP, a label founded by singer Nick Hexum, and the band cut it at The Hive in North Hollywood with longtime collaborator Scotch Ralston among the producers.

You're Gonna Get It kicks things off with crunching riffs and the familiar back-and-forth between Hexum and SA Martinez, a lead single that wastes no time getting to the point. Need Somebody, the second single, puts melody front and center, the title track Full Bloom carries the album's spirit of renewal, and Braver closes the set on a forward-looking note.

At ten songs and roughly half an hour, it is tight and punchy, with Chad Sexton's nimble drumming and P-Nut's elastic bass lines keeping everything moving.

For longtime fans who have followed the band through decades of summer tours, this is a welcome burst of new energy.
